Kuruman, Northern Cape - A Bangladeshi man's shop in Kuruman has been robbed of an undisclosed amount of money and airtime, Northern Cape police said on Thursday.

Lieutenant Andrea Cloete said four armed men entered the shop, and opened fire on the owner, wounding him, on Wednesday night. They took money and airtime, and fled.

Cloete said the shop owner was in the Kimberley Hospital.
