Three men and a woman were arrested for being in possession of stolen aluminium cablesat Timbavati Trust in Acornhoek on Wednesday, Mpumalanga police said.

“Police acted swiftly on information received about a woman who was manufacturing pots (from) aluminium cables,” Lt-Col Leonard Hlathi said.

At the scene they found aluminium cables and the pots she had made.

The value of the cables came to R135 000.

Police arrested three men, aged between 23 and 31, and a 46-year-old woman.

They would appear in Acornhoek Magistrate's Court on Thursday. - Sapa
