Johannesburg - Four men were arrested in Queenstown for possession of suspected stolen copper and an unlicensed firearm, Eastern Cape police said.

“The copper, which has a value of R210 000, was found in a house in Wesborne, a suburb in Queenstown, on Friday,” Lieutenant Pumzile Makaula said.

“It is alleged that the cables are from Telkom and Eskom.” Makaula said the house belonged to one of the men.

The men would appear in the Queenstown Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on charges of possession of stolen property and an unlicensed firearm, she said.
