Grobbelaarshoop - Two men, a woman and a teenager accused of possession of dagga worth about R1 million on the street have appeared in the Groblershoop Magistrate's Court, Northern Cape police said on Wednesday.

The matter was postponed to January 20 when it was heard on Tuesday, Lieutenant Donald Mdhluli said.

Violet Lepebele, 39, Makame Pamabi, 36, Derrick Qwesha, 49, and a 17-year-old youth, believed to be from Lesotho, were charged with dealing in drugs.

The three adults were granted bail. The youth was at a place of safety.

They were arrested on December 10, when police found 13 bags of dagga in a newspaper delivery truck on the N8 in Groblershoop.
