Johannesburg - Two Bothaville gangsters convicted of stabbing a man to death have been sentenced to life in prison, Free State police said on Sunday.

“I would like to applaud the investigator for his dedication and commitment in ensuring that the two accused were removed from Kgotsong society forever,” said provincial police commissioner Lieutenant General Khehla Sitole.

The two men, who belong to the “Hang Hang Ka Potlako” gang, committed the murder in April 2012.

Tebogo Sehebeng, 18, was killed in the attack, which took place near a high school in Bothaville.

The trial concluded on February 22 when the life imprisonment sentences were handed down. - Sapa
