Port Elizabeth – The Eastern Cape Gang Investigation Unit is investigating two cases of attempted murder following an alleged gang related incident in Gelvandale, Port Elizabeth.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu said a 35-year-old victim and a friend were walking in Goliath Street on Sunday afternoon when they noticed three men approaching from another direction.
Two of the men were armed and one suspect started firing at the pair who fled on foot.
The victim sustained three gunshot wounds, to the head, arm and leg and is in a serious condition at hospital.
No arrests have been made.
