Johannesburg - A 17-year-old girl has been arrested in Lichtenburg for allegedly killing her father, North West police said on Sunday.
Captain Pelonomi Makau said the 46-year-old man was killed on Saturday as he went to fetch his daughter from her boyfriend's house.
“According to the information, an argument ensued between the daughter and her father after he told her to leave the boyfriend's place,” said Makau.
“The suspect allegedly went inside the house, fetched a knife and allegedly stabbed her father, who died on the scene.”
The girl was arrested and taken to a place of safety.
