Bredasdorp - An emergency services worker gave details in the Western Cape's Swellendam Circuit High Court of the gruesome state in which Anene Booysen's body was found after she was raped and murdered, the SABC reported on Wednesday.
Fifth witness, Wikus Kiewiets, testified that he and his team were called out to the construction site to transport Booysen's body to hospital.
According to the public broadcaster, Kiewiets gave a gruesome description of Booysen's intestines hanging out between her legs.
Seventeen-year-old Booysen was raped and disembowelled in February allegedly by Johannes Kana. She died in the Tygerberg Hospital on the afternoon of Saturday, February 2.
Kana's rape and murder trial commenced on Monday.
He admitted leaving a Bredasdorp pub with Booysen, hitting and raping her, but denied killing her.
More witnesses are expected to take the stand on Thursday.
