Hawks offer R100 000 for info on Mpumalanga murder

Nelspruit – The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks) in Mpumalanga have offered a reward of R100,000 for information which can lead to the identification, arrest, and successful prosecution of the person/s responsible for the murder of Michael Phelembe.

"Phelembe, who was an engineer at the Mpumalanga department of public works and an active politician in Pienaar, was shot and killed by unknown suspect/s after he had just entered his yard on 27 May 2016," Captain Dineo Lucy Sekgotodi said.
