The headless body of a man has been discovered on a river bank in Knysna, in the Western Cape, police said on Thursday.
It was found partly buried on Wednesday afternoon, said Captain Malcolm Pojie.
Police conducted a search after a dog brought a human skull to a house in the area on Tuesday night.
Pojie said an inquest docket had been opened. – Sapa
