Johannesburg - The Inkatha Freedom Party said it was saddened by the death of television presenter Simbarashe “Simba” Mhere who died in a car accident in Johannesburg on Saturday.
“Mhere was a talented young presenter who won the hearts of all those who watched him on Top Billing and other shows. His passing will leave a void in the SABC that will be difficult to fill,” said chairman Blessed Gwala in a statement.
“He was a charismatic personality who was a true professional in the broadcasting industry.”
Mhere became presenter of television show Top Billing after winning a presenter search in 2010.
