Johannesburg - Twenty-two people accused of illicit diamond dealing appeared in the Kimberley Magistrate's Court on Monday, the National Prosecuting Authority said.
Twenty of the accused were granted bail ranging from R50,000 to R500,000, said NPA spokesman Nathi Mncube.
The other two would appear on Tuesday for bail application.
The accused, aged between 23 and 70, were facing charges including money laundering and using unregistered premises as a diamond trading house, said Mncube. - Sapa
