Taung - A North West man was shot dead in front of his wife and granddaughter by two intruders at their home in Magogong village, Taung, on Monday, said police.
Captain Amanda Funani said the two men entered the house by breaking down the front door. The 59-year-old man found them in his living room.
“It is suspected that the victim fought with the suspects and one of them took out a firearm and shot him on the shoulder,” she said.
“It is apparent that the bullet went out through the chest and the victim died on the scene.”
Funani said the motive for the killing was not known. The men ran away and nothing was stolen, she said. - Sapa
