Rustenburg – A 27-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend in Reagile near Koster, North West police said on Sunday.
Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone said the man was arrested on Friday after his 32-year-old girlfriend was found dead in shack.
“According to information, the victim and the suspect had an argument after the victim allegedly received a [telephone] call. The suspected then [allegedly] severely assaulted the victim who died on the scene.
"The police were called and found the lifeless body of the victim, with visible injuries, at the suspect’s shack. The suspect was then arrested for murder.”
He was expected to appear in the Koster Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
