Johannesburg - The man purported to have conspired to kill Czech businessman Radovan Krejcir appeared briefly in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
Brendan Harrison was given a job by Michael Arsiotis, a former associate of Krejcir’s, in 2011. He said soon after taking the job, he started to receive threats. He then cut all ties with Krejcir and his associates, and left for Swaziland to start his own business.
In July, while he was on a business trip in South Africa, he was arrested for an alleged plot to kill his former boss.
His bail application last month was denied after investigators said his life was in danger and that he would be safer in custody.
On Friday, his court case was postponed to October 14 for the defence to be provided with the contents of the case docket.
