Pretoria - Two men accused of defrauding the labour department of R1.2 million were granted bail of R5000 each by the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on Wednesday, the department said.

Kenneth Martin Mahuluhulu, 32, and his co-accused Khathutshelo Nethengwe, 35, a former labour department employee, were arrested in August after being on the run for two years, said department spokesman Page Boikanyo.

“They have been given bail to allow them to instruct their legal representatives on the way forward,” he said. - Sapa
