Johannesburg - A lecturer at the University of Limpopo was found dead in front of his rented house at the institution, police said on Monday.
Police spokeswoman Ronel Otto said Freddy Madiba, 50, was found in his wheelchair in front of his house by family members on Monday.
“It appeared he might have been killed somewhere else and then brought to the rented house in the university premises. He had several open wounds to his head,” she said.
No one has been arrested in connection with the killing.
