Cape Town - Former Western Cape police commissioner Lennit Max has approached a court to prove his penis size excludes him from allegations of an extramarital affair, the Sunday Times reports.

Max, 52, is suing Die Son newspaper for R700 000 for defamation. It reported in 2010 that former police clerk, Belinda Petersen claimed she was coerced into sexual encounters with him in 2007. She had reportedly been shocked by Max's “massive” penis, resembling a bull's. It was apparently so large she sustained vaginal injuries.

Max hired a urologist and clinical sexologist to assess his penis size to prove he was not involved.

According to a report filed at the High Court in Cape Town by clinical sexologist Marlene Wasserman: “Based on the urologist's investigation and assessment, advocate Max has a peniz size and girth within normal measurement for an adult male. Thus it is questionable whether, in fact, this description fits that of his penis at all”.

“He's lying...He wanted sex from me,” Petersen told the Sunday Times.

Max told the newspaper he was pursuing the case as it was affecting his career: “I can't go to the grave with this legacy.”
