Oudtshoorn - A traffic officer and a driving school owner accused of fraud appeared in the Oudtshoorn Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, the National Prosecuting Authority said.

Spokesman Eric Ntabazalila said the case against officer Nomalanga Cynthia Mani, out on R5,000 bail, was postponed to July 27 for further investigation.

Driving school owner Simon Xola Ngcobo's application for bail was denied and his case was also postponed to July 27.

The two were arrested with three others for allegedly selling fraudulent learners and drivers licences. - Sapa
