Rustenburg – A 28-year-old woman was stabbed to death, allegedly by her boyfriend, in Brits, North West police said on Monday.
Police spokesperson Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said the woman was stabbed on Sunday, allegedly by her 47-year-old boyfriend. The boyfriend has been arrested.
“It is alleged that the suspect and his girlfriend had a quarrel that led to a fatal stabbing. The suspect allegedly left the place after the incident. The victim’s lifeless body was discovered by the members of the community who alerted the police.”
He said the man was arrested on the same day after the police conducted a thorough search.
He was expected to appear in the Brits Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
