A Limpopo man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder of a 57-year-old woman in Ga-Mathabatha village, police said.

Lt-Col Malesela Ledwaba said she was last seen on Tuesday. It was believed she was raped.

“She was found bleeding outside the village in the bushes.”

Investigations led to the arrest of a 19-year-old man. He would appear in the Thabamoopo Magistrate's Court on Thursday. - Sapa
