File picture: Two men were arrested when dagga worth R100 000 was found in Eldorado Park, Johannesburg.

Port St Johns - A 60-year-old man was arrested for possession of 64 bags of dagga in Port St Johns on Tuesday, Eastern Cape police said.

Lt-Col Mzukisi Fatyela said the man was also found in possession of a shotgun, a rifle, two handguns and over 1000 rounds of ammunition.

“We are still investigating whether he was working alone or with a group. All of this was found in one hut,” Fatyela said.

The man would appear in the Port St Johns Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. - Sapa
