A 32-year-old man handed himself over to police on Monday morning for killing another man in the Soul City informal settlement in Kagiso, Gauteng police said.

Police attended to the call about a 31-year-old man who was stabbed in the chest on Sunday night. He died on his arrival at hospital, Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya said.

Sibiya said it was not clear why the victim was stabbed.

The arrested man would appear in the Kagiso Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. - Sapa
