Johannesburg - A 20-year-old Kagiso youth has been arrested after a burglary at a liquor store in Kagiso on the West Rand, Gauteng police said on Thursday.

He was taken into custody on Wednesday for the crime that was committed on November 3, said Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya.

Goods worth R30,000 were stolen during the night when there was no one at the store. He gained entry through the roof.

Sibiya said investigations linked the man to the crime.

He would appear in the Krugersdorp Magistrate's Court soon on a charge of business burglary. - Sapa
