Johannesburg - A man was arrested in Soweto on Monday morning for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl, Gauteng police said.
“We just arrested a 28-year-old man this morning (Monday),” said Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela.
“It is alleged that yesterday (Sunday) in the afternoon he took a five-year-old girl in Moletsani to a house where he sexually assaulted the girl. She alleged that he raped her.”
The man was expected to appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court on Tuesday. - Sapa
