Johannesburg -
A man arrested in connection with the murder and mutilation of a woman in North West is expected to appear in the Swartruggens Magistrate's Court on Friday.
He was taken into custody on Wednesday.
The woman's body was found near the Swartruggens shopping complex by a passerby on Sunday.
Her abdomen had been cut open and her heart and lungs removed.
Her face was smashed with a stone, her breasts were cut off and her genitals cut, said police spokesman Captain Pelonomi Makau. - Sapa
