Johannesburg - A 21-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly murdering a co-worker, Eastern Cape police said on Monday.
Lt-Col Priscilla Naidu said the man would appear soon in the Kirkwood Magistrate's Court on a charge of murder.
“Police arrested the man on Sunday in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old man.”
Naidu said police reacted to complaint about a stabbing on Saturday around 9pm.
“Police found the man lying on the ground with a open wound on his head and chest. A knife was still protruding from his back.”
The man was declared dead on the scene.
The two men had worked together on a citrus farm in Kirkwood, she said. - Sapa
