Johannesburg - A man will appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court on Monday on charges of kidnapping and raping a nine-year-old girl, police said on Sunday.
The 32-year-old man was arrested in Germiston on Saturday in connection with the crimes which took place in March last year, Captain Mega Ndobe said.
“The girl was left with her legs and arms tied for three days (after the criminal incidents) until she managed to untie herself.”
Last week police received information on the whereabouts of the suspect, which resulted in the arrest of the 32-year-old. - Sapa
