“According to information the suspect and the victim did not get along since September 2016. The victim’s body was found inside the pit toilet at Nhole village outside Taung.”

He was arrested by members of the community who allegedly assaulted him after he tried to flee scene. He was taken to a local hospital where he was under police guard.

At the time of the incident, the man was facing a charge of malicious damage to property after he allegedly broke his uncle’s shop windows.
