Limpopo -

A man who was allegedly part of a gang that attacked three farms in Tagana's Hoek, near Letsitele, has been arrested, Limpopo police said on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old man was arrested on Sunday in Nwamitwa, Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said.

The gang allegedly attacked three farms on Saturday. They raped a 32-year-old woman, stole three firearms and R300 on the first farm. At the second farm they raped a 59-year-old Zimbabwean woman and, at the third farm, stole electrical appliances.

The man was expected to appear in the Tzaneen Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on charges of rape, house breaking, and possession of a firearm and ammunition. - Sapa
