A Limpopo man has been arrested after he allegedly raped a five-year-old girl in Ga-Molepo, east of Polokwane, police said on Thursday.

Constable Moses Molepo said the victim was on her way home from school on Wednesday when the man grabbed her.

He took her to a mountain, where the crime was committed. Her friends alerted the mother, who called the police.

He will appear in court on Friday to face a charge of rape. – Sapa
