Katlehong - A 26-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly stabbed his uncle to death following an argument in Katlehong on Monday, Gauteng police said.

Captain Mega Ndobe said police found a 40-year-old man dead on the scene.

“It is alleged that the man had an argument with his sister's son during which the son took out a knife and stabbed his uncle in the upper body before fleeing,” said Ndobe.

The suspect was arrested a few minutes away from the scene. A knife believed to have been used in the killing was found hidden inside a cardboard.

He will appear at the Palm Ridge Court soon. - Sapa
