Johannesburg - A man accused of murdering a woman in Eldorado Park, south of Johannesburg, appeared in the Protea Magistrate's Court on Friday, police said.

Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said Paul Mutsi, 21, would be back in court on April 11. He remained in custody.

The body of Christell Pienaar, 30, a mother of five children, was found on Wednesday. She had been stabbed in her upper body.

A passerby found her body on an overgrown cricket pitch at the Silver Oaks School, in Eldorado Park extension four.
