A man appeared in the Mankweng Magistrate's Court on Friday after two sisters were raped, Limpopo police said.
Constable Moses Molepo said a 20-year-old shop owner accused of raping two sisters, aged eight and 12, would remain in police custody.
“The matter was postponed to June 26 for his formal bail application.”
Molepo said the girls went to the man's shop to buy sweets last month.
He allegedly locked them inside the shop before taking turns to rape them.
He said the man faces two charges of rape. - Sapa
