Pretoria - The case against a man who allegedly set the reception area of the health department building in Pretoria alight has been postponed to August, the SABC reported on Friday.

The matter was postponed in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court to allow the 64-year-old to go for psychological evaluation. He was arrested on Wednesday and charged with arson.

He allegedly set the building on fire after he was refused entry to the building to meet health minister Aaron Motsoaledi about an HIV/Aids cure, the broadcaster reported.

The man would remain in custody.
