Johannesburg – A man accused of fatally stabbing his 20-year-old sister will appear in the Steytlerville Magistrate's Court on Monday to face charges of murder, Eastern Cape police said.
The 27-year-old suspect was arrested early Saturday.
"It is alleged that the suspect entered a house in Wilgerboom Street at 23:30 on Friday night and started stabbing the victim, she ran out and passed on in the street. The suspect fled from the scene and detectives worked throughout the night searching for him," said spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart.
The motive for the killing was not yet known, she said.
