A North West man was sentenced to six life sentences by the Rustenburg High Court on Friday for rape, murder and robbery.

A man convicted of murdering his fiancée was sentenced to 18 years in prison by the Mankweng Magistrate's Court on Friday.

Constable Moses Molepo said Piet Mogano, 52, beat his fiancée Martha Thepanyeka, 48, to death with a stick, last month at Ga Molepo in Polokwane. - Sapa
