North West police have arrested one suspect after the fatal stabbing of a Jouberton man this weekend.

Johannesburg - A man has been stabbed to death in a robbery in Jouberton, North West police said on Sunday.

Captain Aafje Botma said the man was with his friend on Saturday when they were attacked and robbed by two suspects.

“The 26-year-old victim was stabbed with a knife in the chest and he died on the scene,” said Botma.

Police have since arrested a male suspect believed to be connected to the murder.

“He has been charged with murder and he will be appearing in the Klerksdorp Magistrate's Court soon,” said Botma. - Sapa
