Eastern Cape - An Eastern Cape man shot and killed his wife before turning the gun on himself after an argument at their Elizweni home, outside Mthatha, police said on Sunday.
“The woman was allegedly shot and killed by her husband outside their home before he shot and killed himself at 3.30pm on Saturday,” Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela said.
“We found a 7.65mm gun with one round of ammunition and also found two empty cartridges from the same firearm. The motive for the shooting is not known.”
The woman, 25, and man, 28, both died on the scene from one gunshot each. - Sapa
