Johannesburg - A man was stoned to death by community members in Mafeane village near Atok, Limpopo police said on Monday.
The incident happened at 1am on Sunday.
“An unknown male entered a house and the occupant allegedly screamed for help ... It is alleged that the community acted swiftly and caught the man and stoned him to death,” said spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Jonathan Malesela.
The deceased has not yet been identified. No arrests have been made yet, but police said a murder investigation was being investigated.
