Kimberley - A manhunt has been launched for a rapist believed to be operating in the Colville and Floors area in Kimberley following the rape of four young girls between the ages of 10 and 14.

Police spokesman, Captain Olebogeng Tawana, confirmed that the police were investigating a case of rape after four girls, aged between 10 and 14, were raped by an unknown man.

“According to the victims, the suspect, believed to be in his late 20s, took them to Sewe Dam, near Homevale, and raped them. The incident happened on November 8, between 8am and 1pm, and the suspect fled the scene after raping the girls.”

According to Tawana, the suspect was wearing a dark green T-shirt with flowers on at the time and had dreadlocks. He is approximately 1.8m tall.
