Pretoria - Six men robbed a cellphone shop at Mayville Mall in Pretoria on Thursday, Gauteng police said.
The men took several cellphones, smart phones and tablets from Vodacom Chaz Connection, said Captain Bonginkosi Amos Msimango.
“It is alleged that six armed men stormed into the shop and forced the owner of the shop into the storeroom,” he said.
They then fired shots, which hit the entrance window.
“One customer sustained a slight cut on the foot after the shattered glasses hit him,” Msimango said.
The shop owner was hit on the head with a firearm and sustained minor injuries.
The men fled the scene in a white Toyota.
