Johannesburg - One of three men accused of fraud and forgery relating to the building of the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit is expected to appear in the Nelspruit Magistrate's Court on Friday.

Chris Gribb is accused along with Herbert Theledi and Kaizer Chiefs manager Bobby Motaung of tender corruption for the stadium.

Gribb handed himself over to police in Cape Town on Wednesday night.

The trio allegedly forged South African Revenue Service documents to get a contract to build the Mbombela Stadium for the 2010 Soccer World Cup.

Motaung and Theledi were each granted R50 000 bail by the court on Thursday. Both men are directors at Lefika Emerging Equity.

The court prohibited the two men from having contact with any Mbombela municipality employees while out on bail.

They may not come within 500m of the Mbombela municipal offices.

The Hawks arrested them on Wednesday. - Sapa
