London - Detectives probing the shooting of Reeva Steenkamp by Oscar Pistorius have been told the model met her ex-boyfriend two days before she died.
Pistorius twice interrupted the meeting between his lover and Warren Lahoud, a man she had gone out with for five years. Lahoud, who runs a vegetable exporting business, said he met the 29-year-old for coffee in entirely innocent circumstances.
Steenkamp was shot through the toilet door by Pistorius. The Paralympics champion is on a murder charge but insists he killed her by accident.
He claims he believed she was in bed and mistook her for an intruder who had broken into his home in Pretoria.
He is on bail and the case has been adjourned until June 4. - Daily Mail
