Ngcobo, Eastern Cape - A 78-year-old man has been shot dead in the Goso village, Ngcobo, while on his way home, Eastern Cape police said on Saturday.
The man was killed on Friday night, while he was on his way home from a traditional ceremony in the area, said Lt-Col Mzukisi Fatyela.
“We are not sure what is the motive behind his killing.”
A murder docket has been opened and investigations are continuing.
No one has been arrested, said Fatyela.
