Australian chartered accountant Shumsheer Singh Ghumman will be sentenced at the end of May for the petrol-bombing of businessman Philip Rhind's Clifton home.
The Cape Town Regional Court heard closing arguments on Friday with regard to an appropriate sentence.
The petrol-bombing was part of Ghumman's scheme to kill Rhind, the father of Hannah, a woman who spurned him.
Ghumman is to be sentenced on May 31 on charges of attempted murder, incitement to commit murder, malicious damage and fraud. – Sapa
