Protesters are stoning cars and telling motorists to join them.

Tensions are high, with the media and police being prevented from entering Atteridgeville. SABC equipment was taken but later returned.

Pretoria News photographer Oupa Mokoena was harassed and ordered to delete pictures while police officers watched.

Some marchers are heading to Marabastaad in the city centre to join the Mamelodi Concerned Residents.
