Johannesburg - Five men alleged to be part of a rhino-poaching syndicate were denied bail by the Brits Magistrate's Court on Monday, SABC news reported.

They were linked to three other alleged poachers who appeared in court last Monday and were also denied bail, Hawks spokesperson Paul Ramaloko was quoted as saying.
