Johannesburg - A 46-year-old priest has been murdered at the Anglican Church in Butterworth, Eastern Cape police said on Saturday.

Captain Jackson Manatha said the priest was stabbed with a sharp object in his upper body on Friday night.

The motive for the murder was not known and no arrests have been made. - Sapa
