White River - A former Mpumalanga school principal implicated in an international child pornography ring will appear in court again next month.

A Sapa correspondent reported that the man, who cannot be named until he pleads, appeared in the White River Magistrate's Court on Friday facing a charge of possession of child pornography.

The matter was transferred to the Nelspruit Regional Court.

The court heard that new charges would be added to the charge sheet when the case resumed on March 18.

His R1000 bail was extended.

The principal was arrested in August along with five others from different provinces after being implicated in an international child pornography ring.
